Goals

To help families and individuals relocate and/or purchase their next dream home in and around the Bay Area, or across the country. To collaborate with other realtors, businesses and facilitate better school systems attracting top educators in the nation. To facilitate learning and creativity among our youth through various projects & events in our community.

Accomplishments

2010
Jojo Soriano organized the Candlelight Vigil at the Market Hall in Hercules when a killing spree left 5 people dead, 3 of which were members of his community. Along with city officials and members of the Fil-Ams of Hercules, Jojo orchestrated the vigil attended by family members of the victims and community members.

2009
Jojo Soriano owns a marketing firm SEEDesign which produced a short media/film JOIN US about the devastation of the Typhoon Ondong in the Philippines - as part of the City of Hercules & Fil-Ams of Hercules' effort to raise funds towards the typhoon victims in the Philippines and local programs for seniors and our youth, during the New Year's Eve grand celebration. The firm also co-sponsored a city-wide 21 DAYS OF FITNESS with the new fitness center, Hercules Fitness in Hercules. Marketing and promotional pieces were created to promote the event which raised funds towards the Hercules Education Foundation.

2008
Jojo Soriano received the Citizen of the Year award presented by the Hercules Chamber of Commerce, City of Hercules, Senator Tom Torlakson, Congressman George Miller, Contra Costa County Supervisor and Assemblyman Mark De Saulnier for his community involvement in the City of Hercules. Jojo organized the local farmers market in Hercules, founded the BNI Chapter of Hercules - the Dynamic Referral Group and the Hercules Chamber Ambassadors' group. In September of 2010, Jojo Soriano joined the Hercules Chamber Board as director.

2007
SEEDesign co-sponsored a city-wide fund-raiser for Teen Youth Council of Hercules in partnership with Fil-Ams of Hercules and the City of Hercules for local youth projects during the New Year's Eve Grand Celebration.

2006
Commended by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Senator Tom Torlakson for SEEDesign's creation of www.lostandfoundlist.com days after August 28, 2005's Hurricane Katrina. The site (though no longer active) was a portal for lost family members to reunite. 2006–2010 Jojo Soriano was appointed as Community Services & Library Commissioner by the city council of the City of Hercules.

2002
Outreached to jailed AIDS victims in Vacaville with various political leaders during the Aids Awareness Day.

2001
Created UNITED WE STAND T-shirts in response to the 911 tragedy. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts were donated to the American Red Cross

Summer projects with Campus Crusade for Christ with college peers to South Lake Tahoe & Manila, Philippines

1984-1986
Toured with the Continental SingersTour J86 in conjunction with Campus Crusade for Christ, the JESUS FILM in Kenya (stayed with the nomadic tribe of the Samburus in mud huts who had not seen a light bulb nor a film about Jesus), Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Holland.

Toured with the Continental SingersTour W85 in conjunction with World Vision Intl. to visit the African relief projects in the Gambia and Senegal to raise funds towards education of farmers for better agriculture & farming techniques and drought prevention.

Toured with the Continental SingersTour R84 across the nation and around the world, Former USSR, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Holland.

Interests

Gardening, sitting in silence at Spirit Rock, Tassajara Zen Center, & Green Gulch; brainstorming on creative ideas, solutions, events, projects; designing page layouts, photographing nature, architecture, and people; singing solos with full orchestra or with chorus; visiting botanical gardens in Kaua’i, FL, SF, & Berkeley; Farmers Markets, Mom & Pop shops, great restaurants.In 2010, Jojo Soriano received his PADI Scuba diving open water certification August 2010 and has been diving the tropical waters eversince.

Jojo has successfully marketted homes for short sale transactions avoiding foreclosure. He has represented clients, first-time home buyers towards a short sale or Bank-Owned (REOs) real estate transactions. Jojo Soriano shines as a listing agent successfully and effectively staging a home to sell using existing furniture and bringing in new ones if necessary. An avid photographer, he enjoys architectural and natural life photography and videography which he use to stage and market properties effectively. With a marketing skill and a formal design training at San Jose State University, Jojo has desiged unique web sites for individual homes, eye-catching marketing materials for print and online publications, and he strives towards a Win/Win negotiation with all parties involved.
